    DNC wins favorable headlines following announcement it'll basically funnel Weinstein cash back to itself
    The Democratic National Committee is in a tough spot.
    On the one hand, Democrats want to be known as the pro-woman party. On the other hand, one of its most powerful and visible donors has spent the last three decades sexually abusing women, according to a bombshell New York Times investigation.

    What to do?

    Seeing the obvious dilemma, someone at the DNC hit on a bright idea: Re-gift Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein's political donations to various women's groups, including EMILY's List, Emerge America, and Higher Heights.

    Not a bad idea.

    However, because this is politics, the scheme is designed in such a way as to cancel out any good the DNC may have accomplished.

    First, the DNC is giving away only $30,000 of the more than $300,000 that Weinstein has contributed over the years to the Democratic Party. That's roughly 10 percent of the more than $300,000 given to them by their longtime Hollywood ally. Pretty stingy coming from the party of "fair share." Then again, to be fair to the DNC, it probably can't afford to give away any of Weinstein's donations.

    Maar zijn er nu nog mensen die daadwerkelijk proberen de ‘tegenpartij’ over te halen of zo? Voor zover dat ooit gebeurde. Bedoel, er is niet echt eer aan te behalen. Links is hoe ze zijn, rechts ook. Beetje verspilde tijd. Vooral in Amerika zijn ze zo ver heen lijkt het wel.

    Wat ik me af vraag: is de Trump train nu nog even druk bezet als 2016. De hardcore Trumpeteers geven toch wel wat signalen dat Trump ‘infected is by deep state’. Is hij nog de great reformer waar zijn fans op hadden gehoopt? Volg het niet meer zo goed lately. Leuk dat the Don overal en nergens mensen gaat bedankt voor hun fantastische werk, maar wordt the swamp nog een beetje gedrained? Derksen, is Trump nog /our guy/ op 4chan enzo. Of rooten de meeste al weer voor soort 3rd party candidaat in 2020?

    Wat ik ervan meekrijg nog zeer zeker. Mensen als Roger Stone zeggen dat er figuren (bv inlichtingendiensten die lekken, andere mensen die recent worden benoemd) zijn die van binnenuit de boel proberen te blokkeren/wijzigen en hem zoveel mogelijk willen isoleren qua adviezen. En dat hij hoopt dat Trump zich daardoor niet van de wijs laat brengen.
