Het Zweedse bedrijf Lavasoft heeft de nieuwste versie van Ad-Aware uitgebracht. Het gaat om versie 7.0.1.2 die na zeven bètaversies dan toch eindelijk final is gegaan. Veranderingen in deze versie bestaan uit onder andere een herontworpen user interface en een sterk verbeterde Ad-Watch. Ad-Watch, het realtime beveiligingscompenent van Ad-Aware, beschermt nu ook het register. Verder ondersteunt versie 2007 meerdere webbrowsers, waaronder Mozilla Firefox en Opera. Met Ad-Aware 2007 is het mogelijk om te scannen op spyware en deze vervolgens te verwijderen. Dit programma is beschikbaar in een free-, plus- en pro-versie. Alle veranderingen zien er als volgt uit:

Wou dit toch even posten omdat volgens mij Ad-aware nog altijd één van de betere anti-spyware programma's is en verdient zeker een plaatsje op uw pc.
