M'n neef zijn laptop is zo vastgelopen als maar kan zijn en een formaat c:\ zou ideaal zijn. Maar hij heeft geen quick restore cd of iets dergelijks gekregen bij aankoop zei hij. Kan ik mijn herstelcd's gebruiken voor zijn laptop, merken verschillen (hp en msi).

restore cd moet je zelf maken vanaf de laptop maar het voordeel is als ie opnieuw opstart en naar boot menu gaat (f12 meestal) en dan kiest voor booten vanaf de andere harde schijf (geeft ie dan wel aan) daar staat windows op.

Probleem is dat er momenteel geen andere pc, hij heeft wel een extrene hd maar daar staat geen windows op natuurlijk. Ik heb mijn hd wel,laptop in herstelling, maar met al zijn virussen,trojans ed vertrouw ik het niet echt om zijn laptop te laten opstarten van mijn hd. Overigens is mijn systeem vista en zijn is xp. Een restore cd maken is dus nu te laat?

Wat ik bv boot van mijn hd dan is het probleem niet opgelost hé?

als hij degene is met een HP, heeft hij een herstelpartitie op zen HD staan

Begin The HP Recovery Process

The first thing you should do is backup any important data, such as pictures, music files, favorites, and anything important that you've saved since purchasing the computer. All new data will be lost and the system will be returned to factory condition.

Next, you'll want to unplug any external devices, such as USB printers, cameras or scanners. These devices could interfere with the recovery process.

There are a couple of ways to reach the recovery screen. The easiest will be to tap the F10 key repeatedly when booting the PC. This will take you to a screen to begin the process. Or, once in Windows, you can go to Start>All Programs>HP Tools>HP PC System Recovery.

Follow the onscreen instructions. The process may take an hour or two depending on the size of the hard drive. Once complete, your HP computer should be reverted to the original factory condition.
