I have almost always run T3 w/ all my cycles containing a Tren ester. The belief I carried for some time (until recently) was that Tren severely suppressed the thyroid - leaving me to supplement my own T3 production. Let’s face it - everyone wants to shed BF and make appreciable Gains at the same time. It is definitely not out of the realm of possibilities - although most find it very difficult to accomplish both @ the same time (unless you are brand new to aas - in which you would see pretty amazing results for the 1st year or so). I have recently been doing a little self guinea piggin to narrow down the fact on the so called thyroid suppression w/ tren. To make a long story short - blood work has revealed that my T4 / TSH levels are actually elevated during my cycles containing Tren. So - this has left me with the impression that unless using extreme levels of T3 - I would be actually be suppressing / & replacing my own Thyroid production. According to the blood work - a supplement of 50-75 mcg T3 daily (This is rough figures based on %%) would only replace what my Body could be converting during Tren cycles. Now here is the confusing part - the above research was concluded from a cycle containing 600mg Tren weekly with Test - in another experiment I used a very low dose of Tren (200 mg weekly) along with Test and Dbol - Thyroid levels were severely suppressed at these levels. The Test dose in both experiments was kept around 900 - 1100 weekly. If you were to really think about it (w/out the research and opinions) common sense tells you that if Tren suppressed Thyroids ability to produce T4 - Tren would not elevate metabolism in the manner that it does. This is considering that T3 is the mediator of the bulk of metabolism function within the body. What have I concluded from my self research? That everything you read is not based on hard research or fact. So when would I personally utilize T3 - if basing my opinion on my self research - ? T3 use would only be used in an extreme cutting cycle where I intended to only cut BF and maintain lean mass as much as possible. In this instance - I would run T3 at super elevated levels for a 6-8 week cutter with the necessary compounds added to maintain lean mass. The other time I could see T3 as beneficial is during TRT or cruising. One is utilizing a very low dose of a compound and may benefit from a replacement supplement dose here.
Outside of those two situations - I don't see a need for a supplement dose of T3. Mick Hart may have been onto something big when he documented the use of T4 as being a much better cutter during cycles. If Tren elevates the Thyroid function (which is in part to produce T4) why would one not super elevate T4 levels to maximize the conversion potential? Here in lies the basis of my opinion: TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone – or Pituitary Hormones) stimulates the Thyroid, which in turn produces T4. The Body then converts the T4 hormone into T3 which in high levels speeds the body’s metabolism. A supplement dose of T3 would only suppress the Thyroid function leaving an individual to basically superficially provide the fuel for the body’s metabolism. So if one was only providing what would be considered a replacement dosage, what would be the point? Neither Tren nor any other compound has proven in any documented research, nor my own, to suppress the conversion ratios of T4 to T3. Tren has only proven (to me at least) to suppress the thyroid function of producing T4 at very low dosages – which would leave me to believe that I would want to supplement my Thyroid production rather than suppress it further. T4 then makes the most sense when on cycle, leaving the Thyroid to produce what it can plus super elevating T4 levels and in turn making a much larger conversion total. In this theory there lays the possibility to obviously produce too large of a conversion amount of T3 therefore suppressing the Thyroid anyway. But this would take a large consumption of T4 IMO. But the basis behind this post was to provide info that in my own research I have found no reason to supplement T3 while using Tren as the compound elevates the Thyroid function foremost. But – if one still feels the urge to play with Thyroid hormones, T4 seems to make the most sense. This is not something I have tried as of yet. I actually experimented w/ T4 several years ago (Triacana I think) - but never really kept logs to compare to. That was in the days of "Joe Buff said that he uses XX and it is the shit - that's how he got so big". Everyone has been down such roads if they have been in the game long enough. I am not speaking of the new internet steroid gurus - Guys have a lot more information at the click of a mouse than we did years ago. We used to go by what ever is available is the shit at the time - there just wasn't a way to search a few boards and find a source - pick out your stuff like a kid in a candy store and pay up.
"But guys - still take the information you read as it is - someone else's opinion. Just because it is worded like it fell out of an advanced Chem book doesn't make it good information. Always err on the side of caution when getting your feet wet. I have done what some on this board will call down right insane - but - I did not do these things without testing the waters first. Just learn to form your on opinions and do your on research. Research isn't simply typing something into the search box and reading for half a day on the subject - research involves trial and error. Those search buttons just help you avoid more errors when doing trials. Take care and God Bless all in this New Year.
