FL Studio (formerly Fruityloops), Image-Line's all-in-one software music production suite for PC, has received a major upgrade to version 6.

FL Studio 6 is an exciting combination of core enhancements and new plugins. Leading the changes is the new, larger, resizable Mixer, with fully flexible inter-track routing and PDC functions. MIDI functionality has been extended to include a wider range of external controllers as well as foot-pedal support. New Plugins:[/b]
DirectWave is a powerful and versatile sampler featuring a fully programmable synthesis section and features such as inbuilt FX, velocity-layering, looping, automatic sampling of VSTi plugins and the ability to 'sample' (record sound) when loaded into a mixer track on an effect slot.

EQUO is an advanced morphing graphic equalizer plugin and is particularly suited to live or automated tweaking during a performance. Sounds can not only be shaped according to frequency content, but panning can be applied on specific frequency basis.

Fruity Delay Bank is a powerful delay/filter plugin with 8 available banks.

Fruity Multiband Compressor is a three band stereo compressor with limiter functionality.

Fruity Reeverb 2 simulates different types of acoustic spaces.

Fruity Squeeze is a bit reducing, distortion 'Puncher' and filtering plugin.

Chrome is a visualisation plugin that allows you to trigger graphical events using the pianoroll, midi controller or automation clips.

Envelope Controller allows you to trigger envelopes that may be linked to parameters in FL Studio

Enhanced:
Revamped Mixer with enhanced free track routing (all mixer tracks can now be sends) and basic PDC with sample-accurate, per-track, Plugin Delay Compensation.

Sytrus v2 features 4 new filter types, enhanced editing in the harmonics section, and a brand new arpeggiating system built-in multipoint envelopes.

Visually revamped Browser with various enhancements.
