Two teams in great form meet in Rostov in Group E when five-time winners Brazil take on a well-organized Switzerland side.
Brazil come into this game as one of the favourites to claim the ultimate prize in football, justifiably so as they topped the brutal South American qualifying group by a whopping ten points (W12, D5, L1).
Coach Tite and his team are unbeaten in their last six since the end of the qualifying campaign (W5, D1), including a victory over number-one ranked FIFA side, Germany. Brazil are undefeated in eleven (W8, D3) overall and have lost just once in 21 games (W17, D3, L1), conceding just five in that time!
Switzerland – surprisingly ranked sixth by FIFA, four places behind Brazil in second – are in fabulous form themselves, despite having to qualify for this tournament via a play-off win over Northern Ireland after finishing second in their qualifying group.
In their last 17 games, Switzerland have only tasted defeat once (W14, D2, L1) and have conceded just eight goals - an average of 0.47 a game.
The sides have met three times before, first meeting in 1950 and last playing in 2013. Each side has one win, while the other was drawn.
Players to watch: Neymar – who else! He’s fit and rested and scored in each of his two-comeback internationals recently.
Keep an eye on defender Ricardo Rodriguez (SWI) – he’s a deadball specialist, takes the penalties and scored in the last two games.
Stat attack: The last time Brazil lost to European opposition was at the 2014 WC in Brazil (W7, D1).

Scheidsrechters. En als ik het moet geloven spelers die in NL geboren zijn maar spelen voor Marokko. Maar ik ben toch voor Duitsland, stiekem zelfs als NL meespeelt.Waar kan je als NLer wel nog vrolijk van worden

Om ff serieus te zijn maakt het me niet zoveel uit dat Nederland er niet bij is. Ik vermaak me altijd wel met eindrondes. Ik heb ook geen favo team of elftal. Ik hou gewoon van een leuke pot voetbal.Waar kan je als NLer wel nog vrolijk van worden
