Toch ironisch dat in de tijd van burenhaat zoveel Duitsers Frans leerden. Denk niet dat het omgekeerd ook zo was. :thinking:

Schizofreen gebiedje tijdens WWII. De oude garde was doorgaans trouw aan het Reich, bv. Theodor Eicke en Rudolf Schmundt, terwijl de jongeren eerder onbetrouwbaar waren in Duits uniform. :thinking:
 
In Straatsburg en omgeving praten de ouderen nog wel Duits. Ook opgevallen met vakantie.
