Ik snap niet waarom een IS-K aanslag of zelfs Tjetjenen onwaarschijnlijk zou zijn?
- Naar ik begrepen heb zoeken Rusland en Taliban toenadering en vindt IS-K dag niet zo fijn. Er zijn vaker aanslagen in Rusland geweest van moslim-extremisten.

Optie 1 is helemaal niet plausibel. Als de VS de boel had willen laten escaleren, hadden ze dat de afgelopen twee jaar wel gedaan. Dmv openlijke boots on the ground en/of maximale levering van alle benodigde wapens/munitie. In plaats daarvan wil de VS op het moment geen nieuwe toezeggingen doen. Het is nog maar de vraag of dat in de nabije toekomst gaat veranderen. Hoe dan ook, een aanslag in Moskou is wel de minst waarschijnlijke manier voor de VS om de oorlog te laten escaleren.

Optie 3 is geen onbekende partij met onbekende motieven, maar een bekende partij met bekende motieven, die de aanslag via officiële kanalen reeds heeft opgeëist. Ze hebben ook foto's van de daders aangeleverd als bewijs.
