The B12 ALPINA 5.7 Coupe is based on the BMW 8 Series and it is one of the most exclusive automobiles one can buy. The German automaker only built 57 of them, 32 with the Shift Tronic. This was the forerunner of the SMG. When changing gear, the clutch is operated automatically with the shift lever.

Not only this is one of the rarest cars, but also one of the fastest ALPINAs ever made. Using a 12-cylinder engine with Formula 1 technology, this fine B12 can reach a top speed of 300 km/h. The engine produces 416 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque.

The hood is made of carbon with additional cooling of the engine. There were wider ALPINA wheels mounted and optimized aerodynamics. The interior is made in full grain leather with the typical green-blue stitching.

The UK is lucky to sell 30 units priced at £121,770, while Netherlands only 4. So it comes as no surprise that the Dutch market sold out quickly. According to Telegraaf, all four track-ready M4s are accounted for.

Als ik zo een beetje kijk is het een mix van vanalles en nog wat. Niks bijzonders, ze zeggen ook een bereikbare premium te willen maken.
Dat roep volkswagen en audi ook en dat zijn nou ook niet de beste auto's. Ze verkopen wel maar dat is marketing.
Denk ook dat het moeilijk wordt om in de bestaande markt een plek te krijgen, of je moet met iets anders komen zoals tesla.
