Dude A:
Don't get me wrong, Crysis is a great-looking game, but it doesn't even come close to what we were shown in old screenshots and videos.
Here's my question:
How can I get the game to look like the first screenshot?? "Very High", DX10, etc...it simply does NOT look that good. What settings do I have to alter?
Dude B:
That might come down to the develpment of newer gpu's and patches, the dev's claim the game will improve over time, I guess this is what they mean.
Dude C:
This is a negatively biased and is an apples-to-oranges comparison shot.
First off, the first screen shot has palm trees, the second shot has eucalyptus or some other small leaf tree... there's a big difference and you can't compare the two.
Second, the first shot has an explosion & motion blur effects captured in the picture.. while the second is a stagnant shot.
I think the first picture is using a great deal of post-processing, lighting effects are cranked up, and there seems to be a greater level of contrast. But the second shot looks great, different, but great
