"Same argument again, over and over again, Linux users talking about security when there are about 7 people that use the OS. Hackers are self-involved ego maniacs who want to see how much damage and hysteria they can cause world wide. Why would they waste their time writing viruses for Linux or spending the time to exploit and find security holes in an OS that hardly anybody uses, there is no satisfaction in that. You cannot argue about viruses and security comparing Windows to Linux, there is no comparison. If Linux had the market share that Windows does, the security problems would be much worse, much much worse. Why you ask? Well i'll tell ya! The Linux community is completely disorganized. Multiple distros, tons and tons of them. With the current state of Linux, it would be a complete disaster if Linux were in the same boat as Windows having the same kind of market share. Linux at this point in time is absolutely useless for the mainstream user. It will turn a mainstream users computer into a giant paper weight. The Linux community should stop farting around building hundreds of distros, they should start concentrating on the things that are important, such as an installer and better GUIs. You would think after all of this time, with the amount of developers that work on Linux, that they would have created a good application installer and a better GUI."
