Rotterdam gyms

Hello again guys...

I am staying in Rotterdam and looking for a new gym. I went to David Lloyd and HealthCity but their facilities don't really suit my needs. I am looking for a gym that has more emphasis on weight lifting, e.g. has a good place to dead, snatch and so on. Can you help me out, where do you guys work out ??

I don't think there's any weightlifting gym in Rotterdam left. Only fitness/bodybuilding gyms and one powerlifting gym (without bumperplates and a low ceiling).

Depending on your travelling possibilities this might be an option. It's nearby Rotterdam. We place emphasis on all the major lifts (cleans, deads, presses, squats etc) as well and that's perfectly doable. I also placed my powerrack there, along with other material like a hex bar, safety squat bar, chains, heavy db's (52,5+60kilo) and my trainingspartner his kettlebells (32+40kilo).

The owner is very enthousiastic about being a 'hardcore gym', so I don't expect any changes on short term. We pay 26 euro per month.

nou hebben Hardcore en Alblasserdam elkaar altijd al goed gelegen, maar dat ging meer om de house-variant

jammer dat ik er al 11 jaar niet meer woon... dat hadden ze in mijn tijd niet heur!
