Stel idioten mishandelt kat en zet de filmpjes op Youtube

ik ga het niet kijken, maar zo te horen is het weer te ziek voor woorden.

Afstraffen die mensen

kunnen jullie wel invullen, filmpje hoef ik niet te zien.

Ik kon dit niet aanzien. Zit hier werkelijk bijna met tranen in mijn ogen..... wat een trieste motherfokkers.

Here's what I would guess about these guys, based on the past 20 minutes I've spent dicking around with the internet.

Let's start with what we know from the videos: There are two white middle class teenagers. One wears glasses, one doesn't. They are harassing/abusing a cat named Dusty. They have posted a handful of videos to you tube account glennspam1 and NPCfilms. One calls the other Timmy, for whatever that is worth.

If you check out glennspam's activity and glance at his comments, you see that he's a touch racist. You also see that he has recently commented on two videos of other young men participating in motocross.

One video is described as "Drew and Jordan rippin' it up at McMotopark" and in his comment, glennspam1 says, "jordan welch sucks…" well, you get the idea.

So glennspam1, cat torturer, seems not to like this Jordan Welch fellow who rides his bike at McMotopark. A search for McMotopark takes us to northern Illinois. Check the phone number, and it appears the park is in Mount Carroll, Illinois.

So now let's search Jordan Welch and Mount Carroll. That gets me here:

That gives us Jordan's proper hometown, Lanark.

Search for Jordan Welch and Lanark and we have:

I would think it fair to guess that glennspam1 knows Drew and probably goes to the same school - Eastland High School. I have no idea if they are on friendly terms or not, but the comment left by glenspam1 leads me to believe that they are not. Moreoever, the information in Jordan's myspace page does not lead me to believe that he would be particularly helpful in finding the identity of glennspam1 (if he even knows glennspam1).

I could be entirely wrong about this, of course. But for my 20 minutes, I think this kid is from Lanark, Illinois.

Iemand ooit al eens meegeweest met een 'kippenraap'ploeg bij een kippenslachterij? Denk daar eens aan als je een paar kilo kipfilet haalt. En denk dan nog eens na over dit walgelijke filmpje.

Ik vind het een beetje mal om te zeggen dat we dier A wél mogen mishandelen en uit ons vel springen als dat bij dier B ook gebeurt, zonder dat er goede gronden zijn om dit onderscheid te maken.

Dat maakt de mishandeling erger? Gaat het nu om de walging die we voelen wanneer wij onze soortgenoten verwerpelijk gedrag zien vertonen, of om het feit dat dit gedrag op andere soorten wordt gebotvierd? (m.a.w. vinden we onszelf zielig, of vinden we de kat zielig?)

Als het gaat om het eerste is er bijzonder weinig nieuws onder de zon, maar gezien het feit dat het om een lief katje gaat denk ik dat er meer aan de hand is, maar dan komt men onherroepelijk op een onhoudbare variant van specieïsme. Of we er nu filmpjes van maken of niet. Er valt in die optiek zelf iets te zeggen voor de jongens: ze steken niet onder stoelen of banken wat ze doen. De schappen in de supermarkt liggen echter vol met dingen waar dat maar al te graag bij doen. Het liefst zouden we geloven dat het onder het folie in de bakjes groeit.
