if Overeem is denied a license today, he can't apply for a license for a year, which means UFC won't book him for a year either.

They are now asking AO what the vial says. He originally said he took the shot on 1/12 in Dallas. The dr. said there wasn't any in T in it

AO says he had no idea he would be tested on 3/27. He was told when he left after the presser and came back right away.

Verhaal klinkt goed dokter doet wat test in de onstekingsremmer om genezing te versnellen en zegt in texas testen ze hier niet voor

AO says former UFC fighter Tra Telligman referred him to Dr. Molina in Dallas, who gave him the shot.

Overeem says he didn't investigate into Dr. Molina. Took his friend's advice.

AO says he doesn't feel betrayed by the doctor because "there was no evil intent."

Overeem says he injected the 2nd shot into his own shoulder

Dr. Molina of Dallas is being questioned now.


Dr. Molina says that he never told AO that there was Testosterone in the shot. That's some doctor.

He also says the shot was insufficient to raise his T/E levels and give him an anabolic advantage.

Dr. Molina says he included T in the mixture because it promotes faster healing and AO couldn't take time off.

Dr. Molina says he only gave AO the shot to help him heal, not to enhance his performance.

Dr. Molina appears to be either changing his story or forgetting his story under oath here and he's being called out for it.

He just sighed loudly and is repeating "to be the best of my knowledge ... to the best of my knowledge." Obviously a tad flustered.


Now he says he may have told AO what was in the mix he gave but he does not recall.

Commissioner Lundvall says it's going to be hard for her to grant the conditional license.

Lundvall says AO is smart guy and she is surprised he wouldn't find out what was in that shot.

They are currently debating a potential 9-month, not year, time frame before AO can reapply for a license.

They have officially denied Overeem a license today.

Now they're discussin how long he has to wait before he can reapply. They want AO to know that he can't fight anywhere else during this time

Official: License denied + Overeem can reapply in 9 months. That means that unless UFC cuts him, he won't fight for at least another 9 mths

The nine month period starts on March 27, date the drug test was taken.

Nou dat was het dan wel jongens. 9 maanden niet vechten, hopen dat de UFC hem niet cut en dan zou hij vanaf 27 december dus weer op de card kunnen staan.

Na 9 maanden kan hij dus 'reapply-en'. Dat betekent dus niet automatisch dat het dan wel goed gekeurd wordt, ook al cut de ufc hem niet?

The suspension start-date was backdated to the failed March 27 drug test, meaning Overeem is free to apply again on Dec. 27. While it would be a tight window, commissioner Francisco Aguilar suggested Overeem would be eligible for the UFC's customary year-end event, which is expected to take place Dec. 29 in Las Vegas.

In the meantime, the commission made it clear it doesn't want to see Overeem applying for a license or competing under the jurisdiction of another commission.
