maar ook met platen keuze , altijd standaard een nummer van evil activities , neophyte of andere ( zogenaamde ) prominenten van de underground.
Persoonlijk mag iedereen zijn eigen sT en smaak hebben , maar het jammer genoeg is dat tegenwoordig niet meer vernieuwd , het is tegen het saaie voorspelbaar.
Het lijkt wel dat ze de happy hardcore terug willen brengen.

Neophyte was vroeger vernieuwend en evil activties maakten hun debut met gruwelijk platen zoals darkness at noon etc ( mischien niet helemaal rauw , maar wel raw qua sfeer)
tegenwoordig sample ze een plaat van the sheer of iets dergelijks en ze hebben weer een (!) hit.

tenslot wil ik nog ff dit voorbeeld aangeven :

een tracklist van noize suppressor is voor mij altijd het toppunt van ongeinspireerde bagger

My point exactly. Er is ook 'n verschil tussen een sT hebben en altijd hetzelfde doen. Altijd dezelfde samples, loops, kicks, enz. Iemand als Peaky Pounder, hij heeft 'n sT, maar geen plaat is hetzelfde.

Sowieso vind ik de opbouw in veel mainstream producties te voorspelbaar, maar daar ontsnap je toch niet aan. Die eeuwige breaks, vreselijk. Promo heeft dat ook. Zijn laatste album vind ik niet hard, ik vind 't vooral veel melodie en veeeeeel breaks. Te lange samples. Dat is wat die gast in mijn ogen fundamenteel fout doet! Het is leuk als productie, maar het is niet heel goed dansvloer georiënteerd..

hmm Zaterdag Raving nightmare!! Zonag official Afterparty party Raving Nightmare 300 meter verder op in de turbo Hallen. Dat gaat knallen worden :D:D:D

Ben bij Ob.scur geweest, daar draaide Ophidian ook, en die draaide daar echt heel anders dan dat ie bijvoorbeeld op Machine City deed. Op zo`n klein, bijna niet aangekondigd feestje wordt er geloof ik ook meer geëxperimenteerd met het publiek, hoe reageert men hierop en daarop.
Moet ook zeggen dat Ob.scur echt gruwelijk los was. Peaky Pounder brak de tent af, daarna Ophidian en daarna kwam een of andere Deen, Lasse Steen. Die wist helemaal niet hoe los die moest gaan, hij was echt in staat om alles wat binnen zn bereik was keihard weg te smijten, wat mooi.

Ik was ook bij Ob.scur en het begon daar idd errug goed! Geloof dat mindustries moest afsluiten, maar die konden niet meer goedmaken wat Lasse Steen helaas verdoet had... :janken:

Paar weken later bij Prspct - ook waterfront - draaide Ophidian weer (kleine zaal hc/breakcore deze keer) en toen kwam er helemaal van alles voorbij gevlogen, ging van IDM naar breakcore naar hardcore en de laatste plaat was enzyme x 15 - Thou Shalt Consume Thyself. Was best geil...

Dus conclusie: Voor een beetje variatie moet je idd niet op masters zijn nee...

de naam zegt het al , mainstage , volgens mij wordt dit de term voor net niet te harde hardcore....
er is niets mis met mainstream stuff , maar zelfs daarin kun je als producer proberen het wat spannender te maken.

misschien moeten wij de vinyls voor een paar maand bij gaan houden , en dan zelf maar een sampler droppen :D
