Plenty of people will say that the only way to improve is with more drugs. Let me ask you to consider this; how many times have you guys seen bodybuilders come on the scene strong and progress quickly only to soon burn out and fall apart? I think we can all site examples of guys who were pushing it when it came to supplementation. Assuming that taking more drugs is what will allow you to continue to progress, I'm sure many of those guys tried that all to no avail. Why? Poor health!
Why is it that no one stops to consider the fact that yes, even in a sport as extreme as bodybuilding where you will push your body and not always act in accordance with doing what the healthiest thing is to do, that if you are in poor health you will not progress! It doesn't matter how many drugs you take or how good they are, if your body is "sick" or one or more of your organ systems is damaged, do you realistically expect that your body will apportion calories and energy to grow new tissue when it cannot even take care of what it already has?! Think logically.
And can't we all agree that doing insane amounts of gear would inevitably lead to poor health?
So what I propose is that through taking better care of your body, taking steps to detox, taking enough time to recuperate, giving your body the right nutrients, sufficient rest (in addition to proper training and the genetic capacity) you CAN do more with less!
Why must people assume that more is better? We can all agree that spending 8 hours in the gym training, 7 days a week would not only not help you grow but would be counterproductive. We can all agree that if we ate and ate and ate until we were sick that would not help us. So why do people still insist that taking more and more and more drugs is any different?!
