Mja tegen de tijd dat er 1000TB schijven komen is het misschien wel interresant om HD films te gaan sparen. Op dit moment is het niet echt te doen. Als je een goede scene rip hebt kan je met een DivX een goede filmervaring hebben. Natuurlijk is DVD stukken beter om nog maar niet over HD te praten.

Maar ik ga de lijstjes even door nemen en kijken of er nog wat tussen zit wat ik de moeite vind.

DVD'tje kost tussen de 0,25 en 0,30, uitgaande van kwaliteit. Verschil Divx en DVD vind ik toch nog wel aanzienlijk.

DVD's moet je natuurlijk wel weer opslaan, maar mappen van 300 tot 500 stuks nemen niet zoveel ruimte in.

Ja dat is ook Eric. Het is me ook niet echt om de prijs te doen. Kijk ik vind een georganiseerd systeem op een harde schijf gewoon relaxer werken dan een fysiek schijfje in een speler stoppen. Daarbij komt dat ik de films af speel op een omgebouwde xbox ope en normale TV en dat ziet er echt prima uit.

Bovendien hebben we hier ook nog een zooi aan series en docu's die in omvang bijna even groot is als de film collectie. Alles op DVD kwaliteit zou toch wel zo'n 5x meer schijfruimte kosten wat dan toch wel op 4 TB extra zou komen minimaal.

Een collectie aanleggen is gewoon iets wat ik cool vind. Ook al kijk ik die films zeker nooit meer, ik wil ze gewoon hebben. Waarom? Nobody knows

[IMDB]I'm not there[/IMDB] een alternatieve verfilming (of impressie) van het leven van de levende legende Bob Dylan.
Zelf een groot fan was natuurlijk zwaar benieuwd naar deze film, en ik had hem al gemist op het IFFR, maar gisteravond dan toch in de bios gezien.
Het is onmogelijk om de film na te vertellen, anders dan het fragmentarische karakter van de film. Er zitten een aantal duidelijke waargebeurde gebeurtenissen in de film, en vele droomachtige interpretaties van Dylans veelgeroemde lyrics. Maar geniale prestaties van Cate Blanchett en ook Christian Bale, met name de eerste weet een ongelofelijk geloofwaardige Dylan neer te zetten (zie foto boven) zoals we deze kennen in zijn mid 60s turnaround.
Beetje achtergrondkennis, of tenminste Scorseses [IMDB]No direction home[/IMDB] is toch wel verplichte kost alvorens deze film te zien.
